A Mission!

Jan 20, 2006: On this auspicious day, IBM gave a ray of hope after 6 days of disappointment.
Jan 21, 2006: To my surprise, my name was in the notice board as a selected member for IBM. That moment, i felt like i have achieved something on the course of fulfilling my dreams.
Of course, getting a job and saving something for your future is a perfect plan for most of us.
Jan 27, 2006: Heard news that 5 IITians, all in their 20s have decided to take up mainstream politics by launching a new party called "Paritrana" .Paritrana means complete relief from the various causes of distress. It made me proud that people of my age took the challenge against all odds to see India as a Developed Nation.
Feb 2, 2006: "Child Relief and You" touched my heart when i saw their official website. It made me think, what am i going to give to the society that gave me so much. Nice Family, Good Culture, Education in Premier Institute of India, Job at IBM. What else can i ask for? At that particular moment i decided to help those young childs who are starving for food and education. While most of their fortunate counterparts enjoy the world, these people work relentlessly to feed themselves and their families.
Feb 4, 2006: Rang De Basanti has indeed left an impression on my life. I started thinking of doing something that help India grow. I was happy that i am helping India grow by working in an MNC. But that didnot satify my zeal to help my Motherland. Some people have to sacrifice their carriers and lifes so that other can live in a prosperous environment. I thought of sacrificing my carrier but somewhere deep inside my heart i fear about the future.
Feb 6, 2006: Came across a website "http://bharatudaymission.org/". It was exciting to see so many youngsters coming across together to change the fate of the country. It doesnot want funding from any corporate Biggies. It's strategy is simple. It wants some of its members to work full time as politicians and others to continue their professional lifes and support them mentally, morally and finacially as per their convenience and motivation levels. This particular statement changed my attitude. Now i am a member of this mission. Are you?
